What a way to wrap up the year! The month felt like a whirlwind, mostly because it involved hopping back on a plane and heading down to Alicante for the Footwearise event.

November has been a bit of a trip. Not geographically so much, but an intellectual one deep into the "editing cave" and the history books.

You probably think bunions and bad knees are modern problems—the price we pay for concrete sidewalks or maybe cheap, mass-produced sneakers.

But it turns out, a Dutch guy figured out the whole scam before the US Constitution was even signed.

Grab a cuppa, because I've got to tell you about October. Seriously, last month was a lot.

September was an absolute sprint, packed with intense research, crucial filming, and a few definitive answers (both good and... well, definitive).

It really felt like we were putting some serious mileage on our narrative!

August was quite the stride (pun intended!) for the "Stupid Shoes" documentary. Things are truly moving, and it's been a fascinating mix of inspiration, investigation, and... well, persistent detective work!

Back in April, I decided to take a leap of faith and went to the Vision du Réel film festival to dip my toe into the documentary world. I was lucky enough to talk with producers, film makers and distributors who all told me “go make something!”

So I did.
