If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter on the blog lately, there’s a good reason: Post-Production.

My right index finger is buffed up (no seriously… it’s ridiculous).

My bottom hurts.

But seeing the story truly begin to lock into place is incredibly rewarding.

Here’s a snapshot of what’s been happening:

  • ✅ Filming is (mostly) DONE. The last main interviews are "in the can." - still shooting some b-roll.

  • 🖥️ The Final Edit: I’m about 80% of the way through assembling the 1h 20m cut.

  • 🤯 Back to School: I gave myself a crash course in animation software to make the science bits look cool.

  • 🦶 Filming Strangers: I've been running around filming feet in the wild. People are surprisingly cool about it!

  • 🌍 Global Connections: Secured a vital new voice from Kenya to discuss the "colonialism of culture" regarding footwear.

We are organizing a "Work in Progress" screening for March to get fresh eyes on the edit, and I’m happy to report we are still firmly on track for a June release.
