November

Filming

November has been a bit of a trip. Not geographically so much, but an intellectual one deep into the "editing cave" and the history books.

After the whirlwind of Spain in October, I spent a few days "derushing" those amazing interviews with Nicoline and Victoria. Seeing their passion on screen again got me totally fired up for the next phase.

But I didn't just stay indoors. I interviewed the fabulous Jenifer Perez from Gait Happens (brilliant perspective!) and managed to sneak out for some filming, chasing my friend Emma’s energetic boys around outdoors to capture some B-roll. It was glorious, joyful chaos trying to keep them in frame!

The real mind-benders this month, though, came from research when I fell down a historical rabbit hole and found out scientists have been raising alarm bells about shoes since 1781.
